Have you seen J LO's twins in pictures or TV yet? Her twins are named Max and Emme, and were born Feb. 22 in Long Island, N.Y.
This was a recent issue of PEOPLE magazine, and featured 12 pages of new photos of the pop star with husband Marc Anthony and their 1-month-old bundles of joy inside their Long Island home and nursery. Her friends Eva Longoria and famous hairstylist Ken Paves gave them two matching prams (strollers for the rich people's babies!)- costing $3,00 each!
Talk about being rich and famous!

More Ramiele Malubay Trivia |

*Photo from AmericanIdol.com*
I read this from a fashion mag today about Ramiele Malubay, the Filipino-Ameican girl who made it to the now top 10 on American Idol. (Yayyy! She's still in as of this writing). I thought I would share it on my blog.
* Ramiele was raised by her own parents in three countries: Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, and the U.S. (Florida).
* Her mom's name is Alice and on a recent interview, mom Alice said "Ramiele always wanted to hold a microphone".
* Her dad's name is Roger and was quoted on saying, "We Filipinos love karaoke. Ramiele used to love to sing "La Bamba".
Hope you enjoyed a little celebrity/American Idol trivia. Have a great weekend, blogging friends! :)

A Filipino Did It Again! Yayyyyy!!! :) |
I don't know about you, but I'm a big fan of American Idol. My eyes and ears are glued to the tv screen whenever the show comes on. I love singing. Perhaps, it is one of the few regrets in my life is why I didn't become a professional singer. LOL, just kidding.
Some of you may not know that I'm 100% Filipino (although I'm already an American citizen). So everytime a Filipino talent gets recognized here in America, I am going to talk about it. Anways, on Season 3, Jasmine Trias, a Filipino-American from Hawaii made it to the Top 3. Now another Fil-Am talent named Ramiele Malubay, featured here in this video, made it to the Top 24! Yayyy!! I was very excited to see another Filipino talent on board American Idol this season. Not that I would promote her just because she's Filipino but man, she has real talent! Even the over-critical Simon Cowell raved about her performance last night. So watch for her...she might be the next American Idol, so please vote for her! :)
I was also surprised to know she's from Miramar, Florida-- which is a neighbor little city/town next to where we live before in Davie, Florida. :)
Here's a short bio on Ramiele Malubay:
Age: 20
Hometown: Miramar, FL
Favorite Quote: "If you're hated, you're doing something right."
Audition City: Miami
Musical Influences: My musical influences would be Aretha Franklin, Jackson 5, Mariah Carey, Lani Misalocha, and Regine Velasquez. (The last two song artists she mentioned are both world-famous Filipino talents as well).

Amy Winehouse Live! |
I don't care what they say about what a 'bad girl' Amy Winehouse is. I think she's just amazingly talented. She is definitely somebody to watch for on stage.
A few months ago, I bought her "Back To Black" CD album and I've since became a big fan. I play it in my car all the time. :)
Just take a look at this video of her performing live onstage recently. This is one of my top favorite songs right now, "Back To Black". Wow, what a voice!

Young, Talented Actor Heath Ledger Dead At 28 |
This very sad news came to me as a shock yesterday, as I am a big Heath Ledger fan.
I've seen him in several movies, but the most memorable one I can remember is one of him playing Mel Gibson's brave eldest son Gabriel (incidentally my eldest son's name also) on the big hit "The Patriot". I haven't seen the controversial "Brokeback Mountain" but critics say it is one of the best movies of the year 2005. Now a new sequel to Batman, "The Dark Knight" is being released this summer, and he will be playing "The Joker". Tsk, tsk. Too bad he's not gonna be around to see it being a big hit, as I'm sure it will be when it hits the big screens.
News say he died of drug overdose, but as of this writing, the cause of death is still to be determined. Here's a video from CBS News.
Heath Ledger will be greatly missed. He was such a young, talented, and promising young actor in his time.
