Gabriel loves Thomas the Tank Engine! (The toy, not the Thomas The Tank TV show, lol..for some reason, the engine faces on TV scare him. He doesn't like watching them on the TV screen--AT ALL! ;)... Anyways, one of the places we like to visit during the day is the local Barnes and Noble in Lewisville where they have a kids' section with the big Thomas the Tank town in the middle of it. He gets a kick out of it! :) The only bad thing is we never leave that place without him grabbing one of the displayed TTT trains for sale. I think this must be one of their sales technique..is to have the ones for sale right infront of the play area where the kids can really see them. Up for grabs anytime! LOL...Anywyas, besides the TTT, we go there for storytimes which they do like twice a week. Of course, most of the time if we do it we only go once a week. I really like the fact that I can sit there watching my kid play while I enjoy a cup of Starbucks coffee..mmmm, one of my favorite 'mommy and coffee' moments. ;)

My son too was crazy about Thomas. I had his old room decorated with TTT. Even now when we go to Barnes and Noble, it's a struggle to get him out of there without buying him something another reason why we slowed down on going there. But I heard about the toys recall that alot of TTT toys have lead paint so you might want to check you collections.

Yea, thanks for the info. I did read th article on some TT recalls... I made sure we have the ones that are new and were not included on th recalls. :)
