It's amazing how my two year old, even when he cannot enunciate the exact words yet, that he can already say the alphabet from A to Z, or count from 1 to 20. The fact that he's working with two wonderful ladies from the early intervention to help him with his somewhat delayed speech, and that since he started hanging out with his babysitter's two year old son who loves to talk, I think greatly helped my baby boy with learning to talk.
It's funny when he gets upset about anything, like when I try to make him to eat something, or getting him dressed, or just about anything that he doesn't want to do, that when I start counting to him or saying the alphabet, he would stop being upset and would have a big smile on his face and then he starts saying them with me.
Isn't that amazing? I'm so happy my boy loves the alphabet and numbers. That means I think that he will love being in school one day when he's ready for it and learning things in school. He's off to a good start. :)

Sounds like you've got a little genius on your hands there : ) Better start up that college fund!
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's!
Thanks, childlife. I think you're right. He's starting to show a little genius in him. ;)
But even if he doesn't turn out to be one, he's still our beloved first-born, no matter what. :)
