I was supposed to go to one of my moms group friends' house (Cathy's) for an advance New Year's party she's volunteered to host for the group today. But here I am sick with cold again, so I decided to not go. I felt bad because I looked forward to this party and seeing my mom friends again and their families. But, at the same time I had to take it easy today and stay home and rest, since it's still cold outside and I had to prepare to go back to work again tomorrow.
Anyways, Friday night we did go to the Play House Disney Live concert. It was nice and fun, except that our toddler Gabriel was crying almost half of the time, LOL. I think he got overwhelmed by the noise and the crowd. Also because our seats are really close to the stage, I guess he got 'scared' a little bit by all the lights, colors, and the sounds. Our little baby Jaden, who's now nine months old, enjoyed the show the whole time though and was jumping up and down my lap and beaming.
The show lasted for a little over an hour. We think it was nice and fun, but we can't say it was worth $150.00 that we spent for it. Don't get me wrong, we still enjoyed it, but just that it wasn't worth spending that money. So now we decided if we ever go see Disney for the kids again, most likely it will not be a concert like that, but a vacation to Disney World in Florida or in California instead. Maybe when they're at least 3 and 4 years old, LOL.
By the way, here are some pictures we took of the show. After you click the 'play' button on the TV screen, hit another 'play' button again on the bottom left of the TV screen when you get to the Smilebox page... enjoy! :)
