DrugRehab.net

I sometimes watch this show on TV called "Intervention" and I'm amazed at how people lose their lives over to drugs, alcohol abuse, eating disorders, or some other self-destructive addiction. Sometimes the patients are open to treatment and make changes for their lives, others are defiant. Most of the time though, it is a story of triumph where the patient is led to a treatment program to help them get out of their addictions and they come out a better person after undergoing through a program.

One such Drug Rehab Treatment Program that is regarded as the most effective program available today is the NARCONON® drug rehab program at Narconon Vista Bay, located in a 30 acre drug rehab campus that is comfortable and casual. The program is basically aimed at healing drug addiction and is appropriate for all ages.

The success rate of the drug rehab program used at NARCONON is so much higher than other programs simply because they use a time tested, unique 4-phase approach to fully rehabilitate the drug addiction and the desire to use drugs as an escape. These phases include the Sauna Based, which is a drug-Free Detox Program to rid the body of drug residuals. Phase II of the program covers Special Educational Therapies designed to gently assist the addict to self-control, followed by Phase III which includes Additional Educational Therapies to rehab self-esteem and cure the need for drugs. Finally, there is a Follow-Up Program is administered to ensure and to assist the former addict is back into society.

This Drug Treatment program allows students to move at their own pace and can be completed in 3 to 6 months. NARCONON offers an all-inclusive experience for one flat rate which includes all in-facility living expenses, medical assistance costs, educational materials and drug detox expenses for whatever period of time is required for the patient to fully complete their unique drug rehabilitation program. Furthermore, they can also bill insurance companies directly and offer easy financing options.

I too have watched intervention. It is a good reminder to me of where I have been and how grateful I am today to be in recovery. I know a lot of addicts go to rehab to get clean but there are other alternatives. There have been numerous addicts that have gotten clean and stayed clean with 12 step programs. I firmly believe that "The therapeutically value of one addict helping another is without parallel."

The path to drug addiction begins with that first act of taking drugs. Over time, a person may need more of the drug to get the same effect. Drug seeking becomes compulsive, in large part as a result of the effects of prolonged drug use on brain functioning and, thus, on behavior. Drug addiction makes drug use a compelling need, not a casual choice.

Narconon does have a great program, they saved my life !!

That is why, they have so many centers across the U.S. & Canada.

If anyone is interested in other centers or other programs, there are some very good resources out there which can help find an appropriate treatment center for any addiction. There are all different types of Rehabilitation centers with different programs to choose from.
